Knife Skills 101

This day Chef will select the finest and unusual  of vegetables, legumes, fruits, nuts, and beans.Knife skills will included, safety, handling, types of knives, types of cuts, and proper techniques. To finish your entree off, Premium extra virgin olive oils and balsamics will be chosen and combined with each entree to compliment and finish off your masterpiece. Groups will then share their  combinations and ingredients with each other. Chef will instruct on techniques, food flavorings and combinations as well as  advise on plating presentation.

  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above
  • You will work independently
  • We encourage you to bring your own knives, so you may learn to use yours properly, but will supply many types for you to choose from
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 10 students
  • You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
  • You may take home any  salad ingredients not used
  • Students receive a coupon good for 10% off in-store purchases the day of class(except on Cutco Knives)
  • Students receive a 10% off Knife skills 102 if purchased that day
