I love it when everyone comes back from their trips to Italy and shares their stories  of all of the  fantastic food, olive oils and balsamics they ate while under the "Tuscan Sun". Most will come back with beautiful traditional balsamic vinegar labelled Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale and carries a D.O.P. ("Denominazione di Origine Protetta") stamp — a European Union certification that guarantees an ingredient's quality, production, and place of origin. The only ingredient is grape must. What is Lite olive oil?

Quite often I am asked if I carry light olive oil. I think we have been brain washed into the word "light";light butter, low calorie milk, light dressings, etc... Olives are olives. There are "NO" olives on a tree  that produce a lighter olive(maybe in color) than another when it comes to nutrients and monounsaturated fats.
